Flattered!
Every week I receive my Google Analytics report with the stats of my website traffic. There is a section in my report on traffic sources, meaning how people came to the site whether through a link from someone else’s site or a Google search or just typing in my URL directly.
I noticed a referral source that I had not seen before. I followed the link to a wonderful blog, Be Inspired to Live (http://inspiretoempower.blogspot.com/) and imagine my surprise when scrolling down her blog that she has Sheic Space listed as one of her favorite links!!
I was so excited and humbled that someone is reading my blog. I have always said that if I touch at least one person, I know I am doing the right thing and what I am meant to be doing. Well I know I have touched at least one of you out there!
Thanks Sheya for the support and listing Sheic Space on your site.
Shifts & Changes
Really is May almost over and I haven’t written on my blog! It has been a very interesting month so far. I’m going through Ali Brown’s Millionaire Protege Club. It’s a year long program and it’s designed to help you build your business through masterminding, training and retreats.
There’s times where I think I’m right on track and I’m plugging along and then there are times where I have to stop dead in my tracks and evaluate things and think, “Oh, my God, I feel like I’m starting all over again.”
I have a business – a very successful business, and I work one-on-one with clients. When you’re working one-on-one with clients you can only have so many clients. Part of the reason I joined this program was so that I would start to build products, services and programs that would reach a broader audience. In doing that, of course, you have to let some things go whether you want to or not so, the last couple of weeks have been about letting things go.
It’s been quite scary and I have to say that moving from a place where I’ve been comfortable into something that I’m not familiar with has been a little challenging. I’ve been successful in my current business model for eight years it’s just worked very well for me.
Going through this transition has brought up a lot of issues that I’ve had to deal with and moving into that place of being uncomfortable and not doing the familiar – just getting past that has been the hardest part – creating the programs and the products and things – that’s easy. It’s the whole moving into that space that’s been the challenge.
Before when I tried to make this sort of shift, I made the commitment but the old patterns and habits of what I’m comfortable with would come to play and I would fall back into that trap and just go back to that with which I am comfortable.
This time, I’ve made the commitment and when those things pop up that are comfortable, I say no to them. Now I’m starting to find that some of the comfort’s being pulled out from under me and it’s a little scary at times. I know it’s all going to work out and I know I have to make that space to move into these things.
I just thought I’d share that with you in case somebody’s going through this same challenge. I hope this comforts you in knowing that there’s somebody else out there going through it as well because I certainly am and it’s been quite a journey. I can see the bigger picture and I know some greater things are coming. It means just going through it and pressing through to the other side.
March Updates
Well I have returned from my trip to L.A. from earlier this month as part of the Ali Brown Millionaire Protege Club. What an amazing and exhausting time. To the right is a picture of Jane Inch and myself at the retreat. We had dinner one night and really helped each other strategize about our business. She is an amazing woman up to amazing things. Be sure to check her out at www.JaneInch.com.
While at the retreat, we stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Marina del Ray. The service was impeccable. I have never had such fantastic service. All the way from ordering dinner for me from Cheesecake Factory because I was just too tired to go anywhere to noticing that I put a towel down on the bathroom floor so they brought me a plush rug instead so my tootsies would stay warm. I also lost my sweater one night and I thought they were going to call the S.W.A.T. team to help me find it. It did turn up. Along with the great service was the spectacular location. Here is a photo from my balcony.
What an incredible view.
While there, I developed some plans to move my business to the next level. First of which is my new F.R.E.E report, “Work Less, Make More Money and Do What You Love: 5 Easy Steps for Gaining 30% More Time.” Now when you go to the SheicSpace.com website to sign up for this newsletter, you get a copy of this f.r.e.e report. I would also like to extend that offer to my existing subscribers. If you would like your own copy, send an email to news@sheicspace.com and we will send you the link to download it. I would love it if you would also point your friends to the site so they too can begin to take back control of their time. Thanks for your support.
On a personal front, thank you for your thoughts for my mother-in-law who had major surgery on her back. She is doing fine and recovering now.
The night before I left for L.A., my hubby, some of our neighbors and myself attended the Moody Blues concert in St. Augustine, FL at the amphitheater. What an amazing concert!!!! We had such a great time and boy was it hard to catch the 6:30 am flight the next morning after only having 4 hours of sleep but oh so worth it. It was super cold that night and because it was outside, we had blanks all wrapped around us. What was even funnier is the next morning when I was leaving the airport, they actually had to de-ice the wings of the plane. How crazy is that in Florida!
Of course this photo I love because they had a hot pink background. Just had to take it!

Dream Drive
Have you ever done a “dream drive”? What is that you ask, it is where you just get in the car and drive dreaming about your life and what you would like to happen. Whether it is driving to think or driving to look at your dream home in your dream location. I love dream driving. It is exciting and gives me such a jolt of hope.
Last weekend my hubby and I were dream driving and we weren’t really going anywhere in particular other than we wanted to drive to the beach. As we were driving down the road, I noticed the roof tops and second story of some beautiful houses in a quaint little community. We pulled in and low and behold one of the houses was for sale. We decided to get out and see if we could peak in the window. It was amazing inside.
Long story short, this weekend we found out there was an open house being held so we decided to stop in. Boy did we find our dream home. Of course we aren’t at the place yet to get it but I certainly enjoyed seeing us live our lives there. We picked which rooms would be our offices. How we could make the media room a private living room for his sister when it is our turn again to take care of her. It just fit us perfectly and really met a lot of the things we long for in terms of location. I thought I would share some of the photos with you.
Valentine’s Day – You Can Only Laugh
Had a great Valentine’s dinner with hubby last night. We cooked lobster and steak. Evening was going good until he dropped the green beans all over the floor (carpet) but no worries it cleaned up. Then we decided to watch a movie and had rented Revolutionary Road. Okay not a good movie to watch on Valentine’s. Very depressing and I had no idea how it ended. Horrible!
Then, he had cleaned the litter box for the cats but turned the entrance to the box around by accident so the cats couldn’t get in it and of course one of them pees and not on the tile where I could easily clean it but on a bed mattress. Ugh!!!
Of course you can only laugh at the most romantic Valentine’s Day ever!
